Rice N Peas publishes a video of the hours just before the Free Gaza movement’s “Spirit of Humanity” was boarded by Israeli naval gunships on the 30th June. In the night, Israel had threatened to open fire on the unarmed ship carrying humanitarian aid. In the morning they boarded the ship and everyone was arrested and detained for 7 days. Amongst those on board were Cynthia McKinney and Mairead Maguire.
The video which can be watched here shows the “atmosphere inside the cabin as the crew try to negotiate with the Israeli ship via radio.”
