Unless am crazy, these are just RSS feeds, whats so Unique about these resources (for people like us who already subscribe to various feeds)

Not sure what you mean about these being “just feeds”? I think it is a case of Google presenting Nigerian and other African news in a more organised dedicated way rather than having to go through a list of feeds to get the same result.
