Even in Africa–a continent not known for its gay-friendly cultures or governments—Nigeria stands out for the virulence and violence against gay men in particular as well as lesbians. Continued………….

This is no worse than Jamaica which isn’t to excuse it. It’s horrible and once had to lie to my mother about an essay I wrote, declaring that they were not actually my views on the topic. The common perception is that you’re either anti-gay or gay.

After reading this I was shocked. I know that some people have views against the Homosexuality. It goes against the views of their religion. Homosexuals, are humans have anyone notices that. I don’t see them going out killing and hurting anyone. So why should they be treated so unfairly.
