"WEEP NOT CHILD".

It was the famous Kenyan writer Ngugi wa tiongo who wrote those lines of consolation for his people. But in doing so,Ngugi was adressing the larger African audience and indeed all the oppressed peoples of the World.
South Africa is undergoing a huge transformation and things would definitely get worst before they get better. One thing though is this:It is the duty of the oppressed to seek for justice and equity. Therefore,I wish to join others in commending the wonderful efforts of those who put these ideas together.
It might interest my readers to hear that way back in 2006,the ex-Nigerian President Obasanjo renderd millions of poor and defenceless Nigerian homeless in the name of adding a facelift to the Federal Capital. Those lands were legally purchased. Our problem as a race is lack of quality leadership and more importantly lack of political will and credible pressure groups.
We African should and must cultivate the habit of holding our governments accountable. It is our responsibilty and ours alone. The West,Russia and China are only interested in siffoning and milking Africa dry.
You can hardly hear these kind of news over the Western Cable Networks.Instead all you keep hearing is about the evils of Robert Mugabe.
It is factual that Robert Mugabe should be shown the way out.But the intensity of coverage given to Zimbabwe is found lacking on other pressing issues facing Africa.
Mugabes crime was the eviction of those white farmers.
CAN YOU RECONCILE THE FACT THAT THE TWO LEADERS OF THE SO-CALLED FREE NATIONS(GORDON BROWN AND GEORGE BUSH JR) ARE WHOLLY IN SUPPORT OF THE BEIJIN OLYMPICS?.Meanwhile, the Janjaweeds Arab militia are busy killing and maimiming millions of innocent women and children in Dafur with weapons supplied by China.
Even as the communist China continue with its cultural cum ethnic cleansing in Tibet.
Even as China continue to stiffle any opposition in Burma.

I am absolutly certain that i have digressed. But reading between the lines any reader would pardon me.

WEEP NOT CHILD MY SOUTH AFRICAN BROTHERS AND SISTERS.
The struggle must continue.
We must not give-in.

Aluta continua.

It really must hurt a lot of African parents and grandparents to see the people they fought with all throughout Africa now being even harder on them than the colonialists and the perpetrators of Apartheid.
That's the part of the video that resonated most with me.
