I know the type of programs that’s out there, and there’s definitely a very nasty strain of them that reinforces and justifies all kinda of racism. However, I also know there’s a type of documentary that lets people like the guy sitting in front of a swastika flag speak freely, without commentary - because no-one is as adept at ridiculing them as they are themselves. Without having seen the program, I couldn’t say which of the two categories this one belongs to. I just wanted to mention it, as I’ve seen the latter mistaken for the former all too often.

yeah, id did watch one of the progs. I saw the one about the young girl becoming a Muslim to escape her trachy family. Soem said this was reverse racism, but I thought it was imaginative and understanding of the dilemmas that are in UK politics these days. For example the Royal College saying that abortions are causing mental health problems when in the past abortion was claimed to sort out mental helth probs. So this prog was saying white working class families are trashy, drink, drugs, sleeping around, no standards. Whereas the Muslim family who lived next dooor were caring and kind and the girl liked that care and at the some time she loved her mum.

U know I have not even watched any of those programs but did see them being advertised n I was horified the first time I saw it.
I could not belive that it was racism blatantly being advertised on telly.And calling the Polish people Poles,I always that was not good but then I thot was playing the ‘race card’ .I wonder whether there have been any complaints at all directed to ofcom.
