Herbert@ Please could you tell me which post you are referring too? I have all my spam settings on very strong due to a huge amount of spam and nasty comments about 6 weeks ago so maybe it got caught in the spam catcher. Please could you repost the comment? Thank you.

Dear Heart, you may not know that I walked a similar path recently. I left a state in which I had lived for eighteen years, where my son died, where I lived through and grew from many difficult realities, and came to a state where the way I see things is often anathema. I didn't blog to speak of for nearly two months and didn't read any other blogs for about six weeks (wasn't even on line for a month and missed it little given my mindset). But eventually, almost startlingly, I woke up one day and felt the fog had lifted a bit. The next thing I knew, I was reading a bit of news and a small urging inside me raised its head to say, "You need to write about this."

It will happen for you, though it will decide its own speed. Don't despair or try to force. Give it the time it needs and your soul will catch up with your body. In the meantime, love yourself, drink in the beauty that is around you, and let yourself heal. When you are ready, we will be here.

The sad fate confronting the Burmese people is yet another example of Western governments age-long hypocrisy. It is the window through which sees the soul of the expansionist and communist China.
Collectively, they are only interested in oil and gas. They do not have the interest of the Burmese people at heart. But finally their days are numbered. In the end,Truth must prevail over falsehood.Step by step all the deprived and humiliated peoples of the world,From Africa to Asia,From Europe to Australia shall be free at last.
The UN on the other hand has been unable to perform one of its primary functions which is to protect lives and properties. The Big five(permanent members of the security concil) which incidentally are the major instigators of all major conflicts around the world remain adamant even in the face human catastrophies. We must call to mind that it was these myopic and selfish tendencies of the then rich nations the plunged the world into the two world wars. The League of Nations became a lameduck and political tool used by the big Nations to advance their political interest.Once again the world is caught in this vicious cirlce. We are once again on the edge of the cliff.Like the ghost at the lima junction our leaders are confused.
The only solution is the expansion of the Security Council to meet mordern challenges, and the re-organisation of its body and functions. The current veto fomular beats ones imagination hollow. It is totally unreasonable and unacceptable. In the absence of this long-overdue reform these powers would continue to torment humanity especially the underdeveloped and poor nations. Then and only then will people everywhere know peace.

JohnN, perhaps you should speak for yourself. Many of us are familiar with the Burmese struggle (and the fact that they prefer the colonial name-Burma since they didn't exactly get independent with the military one-Myanmar). Glad things are moving for them.
