On Monday I visited the Open Cafe in Potchefstroom about 80kilometers from Johannesburg which “specialises in the usage, distribution, training and technical support for open source software and open content materials”. Some very interesting projects taking place such as the Art Market Online
ArtMarketOnline is a global initiative – we don’t only work with people in South Africa. Being an open source initiative – we work in a global environment – both offline in the cafe – and online – we keep in touch with artists and art lovers from all over Africa and beyond.
