		<description>Below is a link to fascinating article in the NYTimes about gender non-conformity in children and how both doctors and parents(!) are playing a much more nurturing and supportive role with the gender choices of children.  It's pretty exciting stuff expecially since I was one of those little girls who only wanted to wear boys clothing...still do!
I hope that transgender folks in Africa can somehow link up with folks in countries like the US, so we can create a more united and thus powerful movement.
One day I hope the world won't exist in such rigid gender binaries...and all binaries in general.
