African women are not just making waves on the political scene.  Women like Nigerian lawyer, Hauwa Ibrahim and Rwandan, Justine Mbabazi Rukeba are working towards ensuring women’s rights are upheld in their respective countries. Ms Rukeba focus is the equal protection of women and children and she was responsible for drafting the first leglislation against gender based violence in Rwanda.  Read more….
