I think your views reflect your Islamaphobia (the belief in the inherent superiority of Christianity over Islam and other religions) and in those feelings of superiority you do not differ from the very people you criticise. It is also interesting that as an African you now identify yourself with the “Christian West” and the right wing Zionist values of Netanyahu. You clearly have no knowledge of “Christian history” or have decided to re-write it in the image of a non-violent, non-oppressive, non-imperialist, non-racist, non-sexist movement to suit your misguided feelings of superiority and alignment with the Christian right.

I think Ike Okonta’s views reflects the feeble mindset that Osama bin Laden and his terrorism franchise are hoping to instill into people across the developed world. To blame the London bombings on military operations in Iraq is hogwash. If that’s the case, what provoked the September 11 bombings in New York? what provoked the downing of a Pan Am flight over Lockerbie Scotland? The plain truth, like Benjamin Netanyahu of Isreal said, is that a group of backward thinking Arabs who are Jealous of the “Christian” West’s prosperity, peace and social order are bent on setting the rest of the world back at least a thousands years. Since they can’t compete intellectually or socially in a free open society, they resort to barbaric acts as a means to intimidate and instill fear. The same is true in Africa; muslims who are always behind intellectually and socially, often resort to burning and looting against Christians for no justiable cause. Darfur, Sudan is a case study. Before you heap the blame on Bush and Blair brother, go and do some more research. They can try every bloody trick in their book but just like the backwoods Texas cowboy would say, “It ain’t gonna work!”

i think bombings are a result of miseducated muslims used as pawns by islamist bent on reasserting an Arabist Muslim agenda and not foreign policy. We are all affected by foreign yet we will not become killers. I don’t care what they say their justification is, the guys have no sense of humanity, and would not a finger to address a single problem affecting Africa, to say nothing of the crises in Darfur. Where are the suicide bombers protesting Darfur or the arabization of Mauritania.
This appears to me like an Arab neo-colonial impulse masquerading as religious fundamentalism.
