Morocco is furious as Kenya opens formal diplomatic relations with the government of Western Sahara, the Saharawi Arab Democractic Republic (SADR).  Kenyan government stated it’s decision was inline with the AU which recognises the SADR right to self-determination.  This is a positive move by Kenya and a slap in the face to Morocco on the 30th anniversary of the Saharawi refugee camps in Tinduff, southern Algeria.
